This week I created two new artworks from two recent trips to two different cities: Lisbon and Sevilla. Both images seen (or imagined in the case of Lisbon) from a window. Both with bridges. The process involved layering different photos from both trips: views, patterns and reflecting light, then some colour as inspiration: gold lustre for Lisbon, hyacinth husk for Sevilla.
Two rivers of thought. Two different lights. Two new images I’m very happy with.

Dos ríos, dos luces
Esta semana he creado dos nuevas obras a partir de dos viajes recientes a dos ciudades distintas: Lisboa y Sevilla. Ambas imágenes vistas (o imaginadas, en el caso de Lisboa) desde una ventana. Ambas con puentes. El proceso consistió en superponer distintas fotos de los dos viajes: vistas, patrones y reflejos de luz, y luego algo de color como inspiración: lustre dorado para Lisboa, cáscara de jacinto para Sevilla.
Dos ríos de pensamiento. Dos luces distintas. Dos nuevas imágenes con las que estoy muy contento.
