Today’s update comes from a place I walk across almost every day of the week: the footbridge (La Pasarela Guadelate) over the river in El Puerto de Santa María.

Each day, the light shifts to spring, reflections flicker across the water and the whole bridge becomes a quiet meeting point between river and sky. River Crossing captures that daily rhythm: from stillness and movement to departure and routine.

Created through layered and blended digital photographs, the piece turns an ordinary walk into a meditation on pattern, texture, and light.

La actualización de hoy nace de un lugar por el que paso casi todos los días: la pasarela sobre el río en El Puerto de Santa María.

Cada día, la luz avanza hacia la primavera: los reflejos parpadean sobre el agua y todo el puente se convierte en un punto de encuentro silencioso entre el río y el cielo. River Crossing captura ese ritmo diario: quietud y movimiento, partida, regreso y rutina.

Creada a través de capas y mezclas de fotografías digitales, la obra transforma un paseo cotidiano en una meditación sobre el patrón, la textura y la luz.
