Imagery and words rooted in light, nature, and place.

Coast of Light is a growing collection of digital artworks, books and poetic imagery inspired by the landscapes of southern Spain and beyond.

The artworks, created by Steve, blend and layer photographic patterns and textures, turning everyday views of beaches, marshes, trees, and skies into quietly meditative digital prints.

This project began as a way of gathering years of digital art under one name. It has since grown into a shop and an onlne space for sharing new work, for processing the journey and realising inspirations.

At its heart, Coast of Light celebrates small details, seasonal rhythms, and the grounding beauty of nature.

Projects within The Coast of Light:

1, Alongside the art are the books and writings of Clarence Greenway, texts that explore memory, rhythm, and reflection in a way that complements the visual work.

2, The Turning Ground is a reflective part of the COAST of LIGHT project built around words of wisdom: grounding words for the everyday and for the light within.

Pieces often begin by hand through drawing or writing, capturing quiet thoughts or reflections on paper. These are then scanned and layered with COAST of LIGHT patterns, textures, and photographic elements, creating atmospheric works that transform pen and paper into digital form while preserving the feeling and energy of the original gesture.

Imágenes y palabras arraigadas en la luz, la naturaleza y el lugar.

COAST of LIGHT es una colección en crecimiento de obras digitales, libros e imágenes poéticas inspiradas en los paisajes del sur de España y más allá.

Las obras, creadas por Steve, combinan y superponen patrones y texturas fotográficas, transformando vistas cotidianas de playas, marismas, árboles y cielos en impresiones digitales silenciosamente meditativas.

Este proyecto comenzó como una forma de reunir años de arte digital bajo un mismo nombre. Desde entonces, ha crecido hasta convertirse en una tienda y un espacio online para compartir nuevas obras, procesar el recorrido creativo y dar forma a nuevas inspiraciones.

En esencia, COAST of LIGHT celebra los pequeños detalles, los ritmos estacionales y la belleza serena y reconfortante de la naturaleza.

Proyectos dentro de COAST of LIGHT:

1. Junto a las obras visuales se encuentran los libros y escritos de Clarence Greenway, textos que exploran la memoria, el ritmo y la reflexión de una manera que complementa el trabajo visual.
2. The Turning Ground es una parte reflexiva del proyecto COAST of LIGHT construida alrededor de palabras de sabiduría: palabras que sirven de anclaje para lo cotidiano y para la luz interior.

Las piezas suelen comenzar a mano, a través del dibujo o la escritura, capturando pensamientos tranquilos o reflexiones sobre el papel. Después, estos elementos son escaneados y combinados con patrones, texturas y elementos fotográficos de COAST of LIGHT, creando obras atmosféricas que transforman el bolígrafo y el papel en formas digitales mientras conservan la sensación y la energía del gesto original.
